My Lenovo X250 has this E1000 variant. This is an ICH8 chipset. Add support for this network adapter (a.k.a. there's always hope ^_)

Some information found out so far:

• It seems ICH8 devices have flash memory that can be accessed by mapping a memory region that shows up as the second memory region in the PCI config space (is this the replacement for NVRAM/SPI?)
